Dear Hiring Manager! My name is Igor Tikhonov, I am a marine Electrical Engineer with bachelor degree and over 25 years of experience at the sea. I have comprehensive knowledge of electrical equipment and automation systems in petroleum oil industry. This includes my working experience at FSO, oil and chemical tankers and shipyards. I look for a suitable electrical engineer position in your company. I worked for 13 years in Russian and Vietnam Joint venture oil upstream company as electrical engineer and as Electrician Supervisor for group of four FSO. During working as electrotechnical officer at the abroad tankers my responsibility was to maintain and repair all kind of electrical equipment, automation of alternator engines, propulsion engines, steam turbines, steam boilers, power distribution systems, navigation and communication systems, crude oil and chemicals cargo control systems, electrical motors, compressors, cranes…etc. I defined jobs that must be done and controlled contractors at dry docks and shipyards during the ship repairing. My responsibility was to present electrical systems to different levels of authorities and regular safety inspections. I have good appraisals from my previous companies that I can present to the interested people. Except English and Russian languages, I have basic knowledge of Portuguese that allow me to understand the conversation and write in Portuguese.
